Platform Account and Policy Interfaces

Introduction

The objective of this work was to create new account and policy user interfaces for underwriters and agents in the IMT Platform. The IMT Platform is a new internal system that is being developed to create consistency in the servicing of policies accross all lines of busienss.

Approach

A four-step design process was conducted to meet the needs of underwriters and agents:

1. Initial collaboration: Work with a cross-functional internal team to generate the initial interface requirements and create some low-fidelity mockups.
2. Discover: Interview agents, customer service representatives, and agency owners to learn about their expereinces with the current system and identify areas for improvement. Add to and revise the requirements.
3. Mockups/Prototypes: Create high-fidelity mockups that met the functional requirements and provided approrpriate interactions and visual styling.
4. Evaluate: Conduct a user evaluation to refine the functionality and usability of the interfaces.

Design and Deliverables

The design work produced an interactive mockup with account and policy pages. Examples of the work are available on request.
